Im tired so this wont be much of a post but we had a great day, we wanted to go down to the bay and we drove an hour to get there then it was rain rain rain so we came back and fished in florida city this afternoon and had a GREAT time! it was awesome. tom looks rainy though :/ heres pics:

Bout all we got to show for day 3, cammies nice redfish! but i will say we caught some really cool trout and got REALLLLLY close to some sweet redfish and snook
we started fishing at 4:30 this morning to chase after one of the hardest gamefish to catch, tarponnnnn!!!!! and what do you know, thanks to our awesome guide and PERFECT conditions me and dad hooked up on some BIG tarpon. Mine was about 100 pouds and dads probly wasnt much smaller (but it was smaller....... :p)
Keep in mind the fish in this pic is over 4 feet long.. we couldnt pull him up in the boat or anyghing because he is huge and because itd be bad for him
the tarpons took 30+ min to bring in with 20 pound test, daylight by the time dad had his close
kina shows some of the power of these bad boys, a couple time they did some CRazzyyy jumps getting like 4 feet in the air and covering about 10 feet of watter, and this is a 100 pound fish, it was sooooo cool

not a bad view to fish in but you gotta deal with horseflies eating you alive. very painful and annoying and unbearable but worth it..
Another thing to add is we are staying at the coolist place ever! its a hostel in homestead florida and there are some really interesting and nice folks and it is quite a neat place!!! sorry for the overuse of the words cool and awesome and neat and all that.. we are just havin a good time
(havent even caught(or tried to catch) a fish yet and its cool) so yesterday we got here, picked up cam then drove straight down into the florida keys!! they are super cool, weve seen stuff like iguanas and lotsa crabs, buitiful sunsets, cool reef fish, and TARPON. at the docks we saw some huuuuuggggggggggeeeeee tarpon and im so psyched to be goin after them on monday, cant wait. But tom we will be goin afeter redfish and snook(maybe) and maybee snapper and who knows what else, we will have a guide with us tomorow, its gunna be great anyway today we drove allllllll the way to key west and got to go snorkeling! it was super cool. heres some pics

SO.. no big deal but me and my dad are fixing to go to }-((FLORIDA (((*>
to do some FISHING!!! its gunma be prettttyyy dadgumb ( ^ thats a fish...) amazing, i cant wait. Our plan is to meet up with cam and go down to the keys and do some snorkeling and eat some seafood then go fish in the big waters on sunday for some TARPON!!! ive been wanting to catch some tarpon for a while (because ive had a tarpon t shirt for a while..) so hopefully we will get some! they are pretty difficult to catch though. Then we will be doing some fishing for PEACOCK bass in the canals of florida, then at some point we will be renting a boat and fishing the mangroves to catch whatever wants to bite, hopefully some cool (and yummy..) species! i will be postin up pics probly close to everyday so i can remember all the highlights, and if anybody follows this get ready cus its gunna be AWESOME! Thankfully good ol tropical storm chantelle DIED!!!! so thats great news.. any way, heres the preparation pics weve gotten so far, its taken a lot of work to get ready for this one!

Im just sittin here in the ol dorm room munchin on a PBJ (not near enough jelly though.. poor college kid probs) figured id post in the old blog.. Life has been good, Im almost done with my first year of college which is pretty crazy!! its flown by! Its been an awesome year of school, Ive gotten to make some great new friends, learn alot of new things, and i think might have even matured a little.. hm.. but i dont show it at all so no worries. Kina cant help that i guess when ya get out of the watchful eyes of the ol parents and become a lil more independent. So anyway, this summer i will be in bham some and hopefully make a few buck$, and absolutly go on some adventures and have some fun. speakikng of adventures, heres a vid from sb2k13 yeeeahh.. most of you have probly seen it but this ol blog kina documents my life so here it is:
so ive covered food (PBJ) i guess i should touch on jeeps and Jesus. As far as the ol jeep goes, Jed is doin alright, he just got a new radiator and now has a fresh coat of mud on him. hes been crushin on a black honda crv though so thats a new development.. I actually shot some pics of ol jed today so heres a pic:

Harry spoke about this a couple weeks ago when i was home and it was really neat the way he led up to this verse. He talked about how in the old testament times ppl would have to go to the temple in order to worship the lord. Now, through Christ, we are Gods temple, the veil has been torn and we can now offer up worship to our Lord with every minute of our lives! Michael and\I talked about this last weekend, its an amazing thing to think that Gods temple, where the Almighty reins, is in us. Think about the picture of Gods temple givin in isaiah 6. The humility that overcame isaih when he was brought there, the majesty of the Lord sitting on the throne, the power of His voice: shaking the foundations! the seraphim just praising him constantly. That dwells in us. God is with us, Immanuel! (an amazing side note on 'Immanuel' - the only time God uses those words is in isaiah 7 and 8, during isaiahs vision of the temple!!! yall know the verse, '..and they will call his name immanuel') The fact that we are Gods temple is such a humbleing and encouraging thing to think about. It encourages me peronally to desire to honer the lord with my life in everyway possible, its encouraging to know he is with me and under his grace sin has no dominion over me! and its overwhelmingly humbling to think about Gods temple and spirit dwelling in me knowing that i countinue to sin and turn from him and act disobeidiently and fail to honer him with my actions. but again encouraging to know that he will never leave me or forsake me, he will always be with me, PRAISE THE LORD because i would be HOPELESS without him
